 Here is the list of the top 10 reasons why I didn't make the NCTE annual convention in "Philly." Please share your list. 1. I had to watch the Cal vs. Stanford Big Game. 2. The transit strike ended before I could join the picket line. 3. Philly cheese-sandwiches are overrated! 4. FacultyShack did not have a booth. 5. I found out the Liberty Bell is a replica, made in China. 6. The Eagles signed Michael Vick, and their fans booed McNabb when he first signed. 7. The NCTE parties are getting too nerdy. 8. The Republican Party was sponsoring a No Child Left Behind booth. 9. The October student essays are still on my desk, ungraded. 10. I used all of my 10 sick days already!!
